E -Granthalaya( Version 3.0 or the latest ) developed by National Informatics centre (NIC ) , New Delhi is the uniform Library software for Kendriya Vidyalaya libraries all over the country. E- granthalaya is particularly needs for library Automation work.
The Library of Kendriya Vidyalaya is already automated having e-granthalaya ( software package ), two computers, Bar code printing machine and Bar code scanner. All books & name of readers are entered in e-grathalaya software. Issue and returns of books are being processed through Barcode reader/scanner. The libray worksite acquisition, circulation , cataloging are being done through e.granthalaya.
